- Destination: Summit parking lot on the Köterberg
This 3 km circular trail starts at the summit of the Köterberg and first leads across the Niedersachsenwiese meadow down to a hedgerow that still conceals some historical boundary stones. Many botanical discoveries can be made here. A forest path takes you to the south side of the mountain. Here you can enjoy a very special silence and seclusion. Along the way, many special plants bear witness to the biodiversity of this sunny location. You then follow a beautiful meadow path with a pleasant incline back to the summit.

Directions
From the summit parking lot on the Köterberg, follow the signs for X5 Dingelstedtpfad down via the Lower Saxony meadow with butterfly trail (sign) along the hedge, which also marks the border between Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. Many botanical discoveries can be made along the hedge. A "Flower clock" board provides information about the flowering times of the plants. At the end of the meadow, we walk a short distance to the right on the asphalt path, enter the forest and walk to the next junction. Here we leave the Dingelstedt Trail and turn right onto the Panorama Trail. We now follow this path around the entire southern flank of the mountain. We are surrounded by wonderful tranquillity. There are many plant treasures along the sunny path. Further west, our path divides. We stay on the panoramic trail and turn right along a shady path to the next junction. Here we leave the panorama trail and follow a beautiful meadow path in the forest with a pleasant incline to the summit. When we reach the edge of the forest, we keep diagonally left, past two strips of blackthorn hedges, until we reach the Niedersachsenwiese meadow again and reach the summit parking lot on the left.
