Certified discovery tour and active loop

Beautiful circular trail around the mountain village of Talle. For sporty hikers who enjoy varied landscapes with wonderful views.

Hermann and Kaiser Wilhelm in view

The route leads across the forest in Osterhagen, over the Albernberg and through Niederntalle, partly on natural paths and winding trails.
At Taller Wichtel, you have the unique opportunity to see both the Hermann monument and the Porta Westfalica with the Kaiser Wilhelm monument from a single vantage point. A seating area and information board invite you to take a short break.
Talle is also making a name for itself as a fairytale village: whether it's a life-size Puss in Boots at the bus turning area, a frog king carved out of stone at the village fountain
or lovingly designed fairytale tiles at the village community center - there is plenty to see in Talle and on the Taller Bergrunde.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

A worthwhile detour into the village - there is a lot to discover in the newly designed mountain garden of St. Peter's Church as a place of experience and contemplation.
