The S3 hiking trail in Siddinghausen combines open field landscapes with quiet forest passages and takes us to the Kohlenberghütte and back.

Start at the cemetery parking lot. From here, follow the road south for around 500 m, past the youth campsite, to the actual starting point of the loop.

This is where the Hönkerfeldweg begins, which you follow past the forest playground and along fields and meadows. The trail then leads into the forest and up to the Kohlenberghütte. Turn right at the hut and follow the Wermekeweg, which leads you in a curve back to the starting point.
