This hiking trail leads mostly through the Holter forest. From the hunting lodge in Schloß Holte, follow the forest path for approx. 2 km following the signs for the Schlossweg until you turn left onto the Waldteufelweg (white devil's face on a red background). After just 600 meters, you will reach the Schlossweg again (with its orange markings with the three towers), which you continue along in the direction of Schloß Holte. The path now leads you another 2 km along the banks of the natural Ölbach stream through varied forests and meadows back to Holte hunting lodge, where the Holter Schlosskrug invites you to stop for a bite to eat.
