Start: at the Wertherstraße/Grünwalde hiking parking lot, Wertherstr. 87, 33790 Halle (Westf.)
Destination: The tour ends and starts at the Grünwalde / Wertherstraße hiking parking lot, just before the slip road onto the western bypass

This route takes you through the wonderful mixed forest of the Teutoburg Forest and has plenty of differences in altitude to offer! After the lowest point in the Hesseltal valley, there are climbs along the Große Egge. Enjoy the healthy air in the Teutoburg Forest Nature Park. Connoisseurs also call it forest bathing!

From the starting point, follow the green and white markings of the circular hiking trail "Rund um die Haller Egge". The hiking tour is signposted in both directions.

Getting there

Take the A 33, exit Halle (Westf.), continue on the bypass in the direction of Werther. Before the hotel/restaurant "Grünwalde", turn left onto Wertherstraße. After approx. 50 m you will find the hiking parking lot on the left on Wertherstraße.
