Radrundweg von Büren entlang der Wewelsburg

The starting point is the Liebfrauengymnasium in Büren, from where the Alme Cycle Path or Kaiser Route takes you via Brenken and Ahden to Wewelsburg Castle.

You should not miss out on a visit to Wewelsburg Castle here. The route continues uphill over the two Alme bridges towards the airport. At Hellweg (K 37), turn left and cycle past the airport and Fortsthaus Krug. Approx. 500 m after Forsthaus Krug, you can turn left towards Steinhausen. Once there, turn right onto Bürener Straße and follow the signs to Eickhoff.

On the L 747, cross the Hellweg and come to Weine. There you turn left at Knickberg and rejoin the Alme cycle path, which takes you back to Büren via Gut Holthausen.

This tour does not have its own waymarking. Downloading the GPX track is therefore recommended.

A44/A33 exit Büren, follow signs to Büren

Free parking lot at the Mauritiusgymnasium ("Neuer Weg"). From there it is approx. 250 m to the starting point.
