Safety guidelines
The Nordic Walking Park is characterized by a unique safety concept. In cooperation with Horst Scheiding and Heinz Beckmeier, who are responsible for the Nordic Fitness Group, the Herford fire department has developed signs that contain all the important information for making an emergency call. With the well-known telephone number 112 and the respective location designation, rescue and fire department vehicles can rush to the aid of the athlete in distress at any time.
