The A4 hiking trail near Husen offers a pleasant 6.6-kilometre circular tour with varied sections through fields, woods and the outskirts of the village - ideal for a short break in peaceful surroundings.
From the church of St. Maria Magdalena, the trail first leads south out of the village via Dalheimer Straße, past the Meisental refuge. The route then turns right and runs along the edge of the forest, then right again through the forest. At the Blissenberg, the path turns left via "Auf dem Hohenloh" back into the village. After crossing the L 754, continue along the road "Im Mersch", turn right at the gallery grave and then right parallel to the Altenau. The path finally leads back to the starting point from the north via Paderborner Straße.
