The A3 hiking trail near Holtheim is a 9.5-kilometre circular tour that combines stream valleys, field paths and cultural sites such as the Annenkapelle chapel.

From the sports field, the route first heads south towards Marschallshagen as far as district road 24. After a short stretch to the right and then to the left, it runs along the Holtheimer Bach stream and the Altenau, past the Annenkapelle chapel, which offers a worthwhile detour. The path continues close to the stream, makes a large bend and leads back to Holtheim. Through the village back to the starting point.
