- Start: Start at the Herzebrock monastery complex.
- Destination: As this is a circular tour, you will return to the starting point at the monastery location in Herzebrock.
The focus is on the grounds of the former Benedictine abbey with its reconstructed garden and the church square, which is well worth seeing. At around 5 km, the trail is a relaxed alternative to hiking along parts of the Prelate's Trail.
The monastery complex is the highlight of the trail. However, the section through the princely cemetery forest is also interesting. Overall, short sections of road alternate with longer stretches through the forest. Sometimes along the edge of the forest - you have both: views and trees.

Directions
- The path is marked in both directions with the green and white symbol of the Herzebrock monastery complex. You can of course walk the loop in both directions. If you turn southeast first, you will already be in the forest after a relatively short section through a residential area. If you start the other way round, you also start through a residential area, a short stretch along Groppeler Straße and then you can also walk through the forest for a very long time. Just try out both options!
