This access path leads you almost dead straight from the center of Ibbenbüren to the Hermannsweg. It is also worth making a detour to the Aasee lake first!

From Ibbenbüren railroad station, the route leads through the urban area out into the countryside at the foot of the Teutoburg Forest. Near the famous "Dörenther Klippen" sandstone formation, you will come across the Hermannsweg trail.

The access route is marked throughout from Ibbenbüren railroad station. A map and GPS device also help with orientation in the city area and later on the forest paths.

If you don't want to walk the access route, take the Regiobus R63 from Ibbenbüren bus station (bus platform B2)
in the direction of Bevergern Apotheke/Hörstel. From the Dörenther Berg bus stop, it is only a few steps to the Hermannsweg.
