Herbram Wald | Hiking trail HW2

From the parking lot at the bus turning area in Lichtenau-Herbram Wald, the route first leads along the Erleweg through the village and then along the Birkenweg into the forest. The route continues straight ahead over the railroad tracks to the Lichtenau/Altenbeken municipal boundary and on into the Ellerbachtal valley, following the Ellerbachtal valley to district road 38. Turn right along the road, cross the L828 and continue through the Bodental valley. Once you reach the Eggeweg, turn right and follow it to the L828, cross it again and return south along the country road to the starting point.
