The circular trail H4 "Harlebachweg" near Büren-Harth is a scenic tour of around 12.5 kilometers that combines nature, history and tranquillity.

The route begins at the Ringelstein hiking parking lot and initially runs along the railroad side path to the fork where the Harlebachweg branches off. The course of the Harlebach stream marks the border between the Paderborn district and the Hochsauerland district - steeped in history and close to nature. Along the way, you will also discover traces of history such as the so-called customs post and the Russian hut from the Second World War. The varied route finally leads downhill via the "Spielenweg" trail on the edge of a former munitions site back to the starting point.

Startpunkt ist der Wanderparkplatz Ringelstein. Folgen Sie dem Bahnrandweg bis zur Weggabelung, dann scharf rechts dem Harlebachweg folgen. Der Weg führt über den Harlebach, entlang des Grenzverlaufs, vorbei an historischen Spuren wie dem Zollpfosten und der Russenhütte. Danach geht es über den Spielenweg talauswärts zurück zum Parkplatz Ringelstein.

Directions & Parking facilities

Aus Richtung Büern kommend der L637 bis Ringelstein folgen. Dort rechts einbiegen und dem Eichenweg folgen, nach überqueren der ehemaligen Bahnschienen befindet sich der Wanderparkplatz auf der rechten Seite.
