The A3 hiking trail near Grundsteinheim is around 3 kilometers long and easy to walk around with views of the town and countryside.

From the Sauerkanzel vantage point, the route first heads west through the village and leaves it via Futterweg. At the bend, the route continues north via "Weg zum Thorn" and "Grundsteinheimer Weg" to Maiweg. There the trail turns right, follows the path for a short distance and then turns right again to return to the starting point. This short tour is ideal for a walk or a short break in the Grundsteinheim area.
