Grundsteinheim | Hiking trail A1

Starting from the Sauerkanzel viewpoint, the trail first leads west through the village and leaves it via the Futterweg. Pass under the B68 and follow the Grundweg parallel to the Sauer to the south to the end of the path. There the route turns right, shortly afterwards right again into the forest and follows the waterway along the municipal boundary to the north. After crossing the B68 again, the trail runs along the Maiweg and finally turns right back to the starting point. The route offers a good mix of exercise, nature experience and quiet sections.
