This relaxed circular tour near Borchen-Gellinghausen combines natural forest paths with beautiful views of the Altenautal valley and leads to the idyllic Etteln paddling pond.

From the hiking parking lot, the trail first heads north, past the small rest area with the information board on flora and fauna. Then cross the bridge over the Altenau. At the edge of the forest, the path turns right and then leads through the quiet forest. To the west of the Teufelsstein, the route branches off to the south and shortly afterwards reaches the Etteln paddling pond. Shortly afterwards, turn right again and walk below the Altenau back to the starting point.
