The A2 hiking trail in Eickhoff offers a compact loop through the village, past forest edges and through quiet sections of forest.

From the cemetery, the path first leads south through the village and then crosses the L747. It then crosses the Siepenweg before turning right into the forest. Following the route, the path turns right again along the edge of the forest. The Flakenholzweg finally takes you back to the starting point.
