Blankenrode | Hiking trail A2

Starting from the hiking parking lot at the Hörmuseum, the trail first heads north, parallel to the K23 for a while, before turning right into the Schwarzbachtal valley. It continues along the Blankenroder stream to the Mittelwaldhütte, where the route continues south. At another refuge, the trail branches off to the right again in a westerly direction and runs past the Blankenrode ruins. The loop ends at the starting point and combines nature, culture and a clear route to create a pleasant half-day hike.
