The cycle paths around Bad Wünnenberg are marked with red and white NRW cycle signs (labeled WÜ =Bad Wünnenberg 1 to 8) and vary in length from 9 km to 25.1 km. They lead partly through meadows and fields but also through forests around Bad Wünnenberg, are largely asphalted and therefore easy to cycle on.
This circular route is 16.4 km long. It starts at the sports field in Fürstenberg and is also easy to ride for less experienced cyclists. This route takes you through meadows and fields where you can enjoy the sun, the wind and beautiful views. In parts, you cycle along old royal roads, which were used by merchants in the Middle Ages. Along the route, you will pass through the settlements of Eilern, Friedrichsgrund and Elisenhof. They consist of a few farmsteads that have retained their original charm. Enjoy the rural idyll. These three small rural settlements with their original appearance are located in the center of the Sintfeld. Their relatively recent foundation - at the beginning of the 19th century - had its predecessors in agricultural outbuildings, which were a few agricultural buildings with a caretaker's house on leased state domains. Elisenhof achieved political independence in 1952 and became the smallest municipality in Germany until the local government reform of 1975. Today it belongs to the town of Bad Wünnenberg. From here, the tour leads back to Fürstenberg. If you are traveling with children, you will find a lovely playground in Fürstenberg right on the way (Langenweg/Ostring), which invites you to take a break.

Then cross the L 744, take the next path to the left and come to Elisenhof. Turn right at the chapel and ride out of the village. You reach the only small wood on the route and turn left at the T-junction. At the next junction, turn right at an obtuse angle and then right again at the next T-junction. At the next crossroads you meet the Königsweg "Landstraße nach Stadtberge" and turn left, cross the L 636 and turn right into the next field path, again away from the Königsweg. At the crossroads, where you will also find a refuge, turn left to take the next path to the right again. The "Langenweg" takes you back to the village of Fürstenberg. At the end, turn right into "Pickelstraße" and continue straight on until you reach Eilerner Straße. Here you turn right and return to your starting point at the sports field.
