The Gütersloh parkland on the eastern edge of Münsterland is ideal for cyclists. On the approx. 35 km long route, you will not only find peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings, but can also immerse yourself in the history and origins of the municipality. The route takes you through both former monastery complexes - Herzebrock Monastery, founded in 860 as a canon monastery, and Clarholz Premonstratensian Monastery, founded in 1133.

- The tour is signposted throughout with the R19 tour sign. As the cycle tour is a circular route, you can start either in Herzebrock or Clarholz. Here we start the tour at Herzebrock Monastery in a westerly direction.

Visitors from Gütersloh should park in the parking lot on Gütersloher Straße.Public transportationHerzebrock train station. The monastery complex is about one kilometer away from Herzebrock train station.
