From the start at the Schützenhalle, the route heads west via "Zum Hainberg" and above the spring garden in a northerly direction. The route then leads through open fields with views of Atteln until shortly before Ebbinghausen, where the path bends along the K1. On the way back, the tour follows the Sauertal valley, passes the flood retention basin and the Altenautal natural swimming pool before returning to the starting point.
