The A5 hiking trail near Atteln combines forest, meadows and stream valleys over 7.7 kilometers to create a varied circular tour in the Ripental valley.

From the starting point in Ripental, the route first heads south and then runs along the edge of the forest. The Dalheimer Kirchweg leads further into the forest. Via the Triftweg, the route finally leads back to the edge of the forest and in a westerly direction parallel to the Reingraben back to the starting point. The trail is well suited for a medium-length, relaxed hike with a varied landscape.
