Atteln | Hiking trail A1

From the parking lot at the gallery grave, the trail first leads along above the Altenau and offers beautiful views of the valley. It then heads towards the Ebbinghausen flood retention basin and along the course of the Sauer river for a while.

The path then leads into the forest before branching off to the right and heading south through open fields back to the starting point.
