The A4 hiking trail in Ahden offers a short, varied loop through the Almetal valley with a view of Wewelsburg Castle.

The start is at the Schützenhalle. From there, the trail leads out of the village via Schokamp street and then turns right onto Wewelsburger Hellweg. Below the Wewelsburg castle, the path bends to the right at Auf der Alme and now runs parallel to the Alme back towards Ahden. Via Köhlerstraße and Tiggstraße, you finally reach the Schützenhalle again as your starting point.
