The A2 hiking trail near Ahden offers a short, varied loop through the village, across fields, along the River Alme and through small wooded areas.

The starting point is the church in Ahden. From there, first head north along Tiggstraße, then right along Köhlerstraße out of the village. After another bend to the right, the path leads over the Alme bridge to Forkstraße, which you follow parallel for a while before crossing it. Continue past the wayside cross through the fields and via Sperberweg back to the village. Leave Ahden again via Hirschweg, walk south through the fields and then turn right into the forest. The path runs along the edge of the forest before turning right onto Urbanusweg. Via Siekweg and Sudberg you finally reach Forkstraße and return to the starting point at the church.
