Directions
From the parking lot, follow the ridge path eastwards. Many hiking trails run along the same route here. Continue straight on past the Wiehenturm tower with its refuge, together with the Wittekindsweg-Nordvariante (red and white markings). 250 m after the tower, the northern variant and A8 turn off to the right. It goes downhill in the forest. After approx. 450 m, the Eggetaler Panoramaweg (black-yellow markings), A9 and the "Vital-Wanderwelt Reflexion" trail join the route of the A8 from the right. After a further 250 m, the A8 and Wittekindsweg-Nordvariante turn left, while the other paths continue straight ahead. The narrow path winds through the forest for 620 m and rejoins the Kammweg at a signpost. The northern variant turns right here. A8 turns left and follows the ridge path past the "Am Eininghauser Patt" refuge until you reach the junction from the outward route. From there, return to the Wiehenturm and the parking lot.

It is well worth climbing the Wiehenturm tower. From there, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Eggetal valley.
