Under the title Zwielicht, the duo will play works by: Robert Schumann, Richard Strauss, Johannes Brahms, Franz Liszt, Antonin Dvorák, Gabriel Fauré, Amy Beach, Franz Schubert, Benjamin Britten, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Henriette Renié.
Julika Hing reached the final of the 2023 German Music Competition, was accepted into the German Music Competition concert sponsorship program and received a special prize for outstanding performance. Johanna Dorothea Görißen was awarded a scholarship at the 2023 German Music Competition and was accepted into the German Music Competition concert sponsorship program. She has performed as a soloist and with orchestras for many years.
The Duo Luscinia is able to create special moods thanks to its unusual instrumentation. The combination of vocals and harp enables a very wide range of timbres - from intimate to expressive. The "Twilight" program transports the audience into the mysterious atmosphere of twilight - a tension of light conditions that has been the inspiration for countless works of music. In this special evening of songs, many facets of feelings - such as eerie, desperate but also amorous and romantic - that find their way into consciousness in twilight are illuminated.
