You can experience all kinds of things in the Hammerbach valley between the two starting points.
From the viewing platforms on the pastures and at the edge of the forest, visitors can observe the majestic wild horses, the cunning wild boars and the proud red deer (including white ones!). However, Hardehausen is best known for its herds of bison, which number over 30 animals. They have been bred there for over 60 years to preserve the species.
