Spazierweg A3 Kussel

The "A3 Kussel walk" starts at the mill pond which is fed by the Rethlager stream. The tour goes clockwise through the adjacent residential area, which is known as Kussel and gives the tour its name. Reaching the edge of the forest, the tour leads up the Großer Ehberg after a few meters through the so-called Düstergrund. Walking over the mountain, you pass the former Dörenschlucht limestone quarry. A look into the quarry is definitely not to be missed. Crossing the main road through the Dörenschlucht gorge, we reach the Rethlager spring, where the stream of the same name originates. We follow this back to our starting point at the mill pond;
