On this tour, you cycle through the western part of Bad Lippspringe and enjoy a view of the Dedinger-Heide lake, in a popular and relaxing natural recreation area.

The lake route has a length of 5.4 km and only a few meters of elevation gain.
The tour leads to the Dedinger-Heide lake, the area around the Dedinger lake has now become a popular "nature recreation area".

Cyclists with disabilities: The lake route is also easily accessible for people with disabilities - e.g. with a hand wheelchair, handbike or racing wheelchair.

Directions

The starting point is "Schützenweg" behind the Schützenhalle - from here, turn right past the Schützenhalle to "Detmolder Straße" - cross "Detmolder Straße" to the right at the traffic lights and immediately turn left into Adolf-Kolping-Straße - follow the road until the road turns right - turn left here onto "Zum See" - now follow the road until you can continue straight ahead on the cycle and footpath - after approx. 300 m, turn left over a wooden bridge towards "Sport Kombifläche" (the transformer station is on your right) - at the end of the road, turn right onto "Heimatstraße" - then immediately left onto "Töggernweg" - at the next junction, turn left along the L937 until you can turn left again onto "Heimatstraße" - now take the next right onto the unpaved road to Dedinger-Heide-At the end of the road, turn left into "Dedinghauser Weg" until you reach "Detmolder Straße" - cross "Detmolder Straße" and immediately turn right into "Grenzweg" - follow "Grenzweg" until you reach "Heideweg" - keep left here and then immediately right again - you are back at the starting point "Schützenweg" behind the Schützenhalle.

Directions & Parking facilities

By car: From the A33 (Bad Lippspringe exit), the Bundesstraße 1 takes you directly to "Bad Lippspringe".

Parking lot at the sports field (free of charge).
Arrival by train: The train station is Paderborn. Tickets can be issued to Bad Lippspringe. From Paderborn station, the bus line 450 runs Mon - Sun at regular intervals to Bad Lippspringe (journey time approx. 25 min.). There is a cab rank at the "Sparkasse" bus stop in Bad Lippspringe.
