Three of the 13 Stemwede villages can be taken a closer look at on this tour, which is around 21 kilometers long. A mixture of hilly and flat paths guarantees variety and cycling fun.

The ST3 route leads via the villages of Dielingen and Haldem to Drohne

After starting at the Dielingen cemetery, there is a short climb to Dielinger Klei. At 92 meters above sea level, there is a wonderful view of the village of Drohne. In good weather and on a clear day, you can even see Lake Dümmer. You also have a good view of the Stemweder Berg to the east and the Wiehengebierge to the south. The routes to Haldem and Drohne are easy to manage on flat paths without much effort.

Should you get hungry along the varied route, there are plenty of opportunities to take a break. The rest areas at the Ilweder Hof in Haldem or at the Immenklause in Drohne ("Unter den Eichen" with playground) invite you to take a leisurely break. To enjoy the delicacies of Stemwede's restaurateurs, however, you will have to travel a little further. The Gasthaus Rosengarten in Haldem and the Berghotel Wilhelmshöhe in Haldem are around two kilometers from the main cycle path.

This route also has a lot to offer culturally. For example, you can visit the burial site of the von der Horst family (Haldem), the interior of the Holy Cross Chapel at Haldem cemetery or St. Mary's Church in Dielingen.
