The seven "Hö trails" through Hövelhof and the surrounding area are ideal for day trippers and lovers of short trips, combining important sights and the picturesque Senne and heathland landscape.

The Hö1 circular route takes you past the Ems springs through the Moosheide nature reserve and through the Rieger Heide.

Getting there

Coming from Paderborn, take exit 24 Paderborn-Sennelager on the A 33 and turn right towards Hövelhof. In Hövelhof, cross the main crossroads in the town center and continue straight ahead until you can turn right into Von-der-Recke-Straße after crossing the railroad tracks. There you will find the parking lot on the right-hand side, which is the starting point of Hö1. Coming from Bielefeld, leave the A33 at exit 23 Stukenbrock-Senne.
