Starting from the Bad Driburg train station, this access trail offers a brief view of the Gräflicher Park and then passes through the center of Driburg. The path then leads up to the Eggekamm ridge to the Iburg ruins. The Eggeweg then takes over here with a great view of the town of Bad Driburg in the valley basin.

The Iburg ruins are always present as the destination of this access trail high above the Bad Driburg basin. The trail initially leads leisurely from the train stop through the former glass-blowing town. You will encounter a highlight on the first few meters of this trail: the Gräflicher Park. For over 225 years, the Count's family has been running the only private spa in NRW in a unique setting. Once you have passed the village, the path climbs further and further up the steep Eggeosthang slope until you finally have a beautiful view of the Driburg valley basin at the Sachsenklause. A little later, the Eggeweg takes over and leads you through the vast mixed beech forests of the Egge.
