From the bird park, the approx. 1.6-kilometre OH! 3 trail leads along a scenic route towards Berlebeck. In addition to the beautiful view, the attractions along the trail include a large playground that invites children to play.

Both the bird park in Heiligenkirchen and the eagle observatory in Berlebeck are 2 of a total of 8 adventure stations of the KinderErlebniswelt Natur, a project of the Teutoburg Forest/Eggegebirge Nature Park.

At the junction in Heiligenkirchen, head towards the discount store and follow Denkmalstraße until you reach the bird park.

There are free parking spaces at both the bird park and the eagle observatory

From Easter to October, the nature park bus (tourist line 792) runs at weekends and travels to some of the sights (such as the Hermann Monument or the open-air museum) in the district of Lippe.
