The longest of the three cycle tours takes you around the Kalletal valley. Due to the sometimes steep climbs and at least 590 meters in altitude, a good level of fitness is required. At Kalldorf, not far from the Weser, the lowest point of the Kalletal is reached at 48 m above sea level. On the way - past Bramberg, Osterberg and Windberg - Kalletal lives up to its motto "in Lippe at the top". On this varied tour, cyclists will find sights, places to stop for refreshments and beautiful views.
The field path tour takes you past the following sights:

WINDMILL BRINK IN BENTORF
The Dutch windmill Brink from 1889 is the only windmill in Lippe still in operation. The 14 meter high mill has been a listed building since 1984 and was extensively restored from 1990-97. As the last operational windmill in
original condition in the Weserbergland region, it is now looked after by the museum association
Kalletal following its closure.

ENGELSMEIERSCHER HOF
The main house of the former Engelsmeierschen Hof, which is located by the mill pond and is now used as a village community center, is a stately solid stone building dating from 1889. The converted deele is the jewel in the crown. Seating areas on the grounds invite you to linger. There is a drinking water dispenser and a toilet block at the historic bakery directly opposite.

WALDBADEN-PFAD HEIDELBECK
Immerse yourself completely relaxed in the forest atmosphere and enjoy the forest with all your senses: That's forest bathing. This is possible for the whole family on the forest bathing trail in Heidelbeck. There is plenty of information and simple exercises to take part in at a total of 10 stations. The free app with audio guide is the perfect companion. There is a separate section for children.

JEWISH CEMETERY LÜDENHAUSEN
The Jewish cemetery in Lüdenhausen is a protected
monument and is located just outside the village on the road "Hinter den Linden" which leads to the so-called Hexenberg
with a panoramic view. The exact origins of the cemetery are not known. Built on a hill, eight gravestones with German and Hebrew inscriptions can still be found today, the oldest dating from around 1840 and the youngest from 1900.

WINDMILL BAVENHAUSEN
In an exposed location on the Windberg, the windmill, built in 1853
and now a protected
monument, towers over the village of Bavenhausen. After the mill was shut down in 1948, the inside of the mill has been used as an elevated tank for the water supply in the surrounding area since the mid-1950s. Even in the evening hours, the illuminated mill can be seen from many points in the Kalle Valley and is a real landmark of the region.
