I like to cycle along river cycle paths. The Werse cycle path, which leads from Rheda-Wiedenbrück to Münster, is relatively unknown. It is well signposted and there are no notable climbs. In the very south of the region, my second tip: the Diemelradweg is truly a nature experience. It leads from the Sauerland through the Warburger Börde to the Weser.
