Washed-out jeans, lightness, warm guitar sounds and a spirit of optimism. Myle brings his own energetic vibe to his music: catchy hooks, wanderlust and a very special approachability.
"I've always been addicted to pop. Being on stage, being heard and getting people to sing along...I'm just starting to do exactly what I've always wanted to do."
Born in Ravensburg, he started playing the piano at the age of seven and added the guitar at 14. He began writing his own songs and gained live experience early on in various bands, such as at the Southside Festival 2017 (Green Day, Bilderbuch, Milky Chance, etc.) at the age of 16. The German-American always spends his summers with his grandparents in New York, in whose living room there is a jukebox from the 1920s, which shaped his love of folk, American rock, blues and jazz from an early age. But he also developed an enthusiasm for modern pop at a very early age with his first songs by Katy Perry or Bruno Mars. "That's still the music that sticks in my head the most."
After leaving school, the now 23-year-old began studying music production in Mannheim and constantly created new hits with chart potential in his small home studio: Myles released his first single "Late Night High" at the end of 2020. Since then, more and more songs with guaranteed catchy tunes have followed and his soulful voice has become more and more present. In mid-2022, he made it to number 1 in the German iTunes charts and into the top 50 of the radio airplay charts with the single "Mutual".
The American influence can be clearly heard in his music thanks to his orientation towards the sound and writing of Conan Gray, Julia Michaels and Ryan Tedder. Sometimes emotional with a lot of depth and sometimes more euphoric or dreamy: "I have always found a way to express and explain myself emotionally through music. I can best describe what's on my mind or what I really need to say in my songs."
In 2022, Myle will finally take to the stage with his own songs for the first time: as a support act for Alvaro Soler, Wincent Weiss and Justin Jesso. The first headlining show at the Summersounds Festival followed, as well as his first TV appearances and interviews on ARD Morgenmagazin and Deluxe Music. The year 2022 concluded with the SWR3 New Pop Festival and several appearances at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.
As his audience grew, so did his own fan base: the SMYLERS, who create and share Myle fan content on numerous fan pages, which is compiled on the Instagram page @myle.and.more.
In December 2022, the first EP "Sad Boy Summer" was released and he played his first club tour in 2023. Shortly afterwards, he released his first album "Songs to Scream in the Car". What becomes clear: Myle and his team are motivated and more than ready for what the next few years will bring!
