At the start of the summer vacations, the Höxteran rampart invites you to travel back in time. "Anno 1250" is the name of the extraordinary medieval market, which takes up the figure of Prince-Bishop Simon I. The organizers of "Anno-Events" have a unique approach and make reference to local history. Their concept aims to bring the history of the region to life and thus create a sense of identity.
At "Anno 1250" in Höxter, the stalls sell furs, honey and mead, herbs and liqueurs, spices and wines, pottery, jewelry, soaps and candles and all kinds of other goods.
