ADFC Lemgo cycles to the large Weser arch

Today's tour is based on the digital route "Cycle adventure tour Lemgo - Weser". We first cycle towards the Weser via Kirchheide to Talle. After the steep climb to Westorf, we have reached the highest point of the tour. We cross Bentorf and reach Kalldorf on a rapid descent. In Vlotho, we ride to the left of the Weser. The peace and quiet is now over for the time being, as we cross the Weser over the A2 highway bridge.  We continue to the refreshment stop at Porta Westfalica airfield. After the break, we cycle around the campsite close to the Weser and enjoy the scenery and tranquillity on the Weser cycle path to Vlotho. We continue through the Hollwiesen meadows towards Bad Salzuflen along the Salze and Kurpark. After a final break in an ice cream parlor in Schötmar, we return via Retzen and Leese . Due to the route length of approx. 75 km  and  a total of 530 meters in altitude, a good basic level of fitness is required. The climbs are moderate, so that even experienced cyclists without a motor can manage the tour. Registration is not required.
