If everything in the world has really gone wrong again, then satire must finally become more absurd than reality. This is where the two cabaret artists from the Berlin Distel, Henning Ruwe and Martin Valenske, come in handy. Always argumentative and on the verge of being banned from their profession, they offer sharp political satire and thus oppose the general arbitrariness and increasing lack of fun.

And when the shortage of skilled workers doesn't even stop at the government, they put their finger in the wound and add a lot of humorous salt. Warning: very funny!

Matthias Reuter is most likely real. At least there's a lot to suggest it. His texts contain views that no computer would ever share. He's not photoshopped, he's very short-sighted and his warranty is as good as expired. But that also has its advantages. Because it allows him to do things that are not possible digitally. Laughing, for example. Or scrambled eggs. Or wondering about the world in cabaret theater. That works best with other people. Preferably with people who have bought tickets in advance. Cabaret is like vegetables: ideally, you get them regionally and directly from the producer. And that's why Matthias Reuter pushes the piano onto the stage again and presents stories and songs from real life, far removed from zeros and ones. Because why always be smart? Reuter makes mistakes. That's a promise! He plays the piano at least twice every evening. He sings in such a way that it's hardly noticeable. And he looks for analog role models. Like the elderly lady, for example, who summarized everything you need to know about the Internet in one sentence: "I don't speak English, but I always press NO!" Now that's a pragmatic approach. And so there is topical satire and piano cabaret with self-made thoughts. Imperfection at its best. Because Reuter already suspects: "What will throw humanity out of the race? Computers that can play dumb." But fortunately, technology is still a long way off.
