Under the motto "veni, vidi, vici", Jannik Sinner entered the tournament of the 31st TERRA WORTMANN OPEN as world number one and won the final against friend and doubles partner Hubert Hurkacz in a thrilling final. But attention is already turning to this year's 32nd staging of the traditional grass court classic. As in previous years, visitors can look forward to first-class tennis and an outstanding supporting program, including theme days and celebrity guests from sport and show business, both on and off the courts.

From 12 to 22 June, the best tennis pros in the world will once again battle for the title in the OWL ARENA. In addition to three-time Grand Slam winner Jannik Sinner, the 2021 Olympic champion and number 1 from Germany, Alexander Zverev, will also be competing. Hubert Hurkacz, last year's finalist and winner of the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN 2022, will also be back. Jan-Lennard Struff, the local hero, will also play on the center court of the OWL ARENA. Fans can also look forward to Andrey Rublev and the two Canadians Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov. These seven exceptional talents will be joined by other top players, meaning that a highly competitive field of participants is expected at the start of the tournament.

Jannik Sinner was once again able to demonstrate his great potential on the ATP Tour in 2024 and establish himself as one of the leading players in international tennis. The year was characterized by impressive results, steady progress and significant tournament victories. A particular highlight was reaching number 1 in the ATP rankings in the summer. Arriving as the world number one, Sinner also put in a strong performance in Halle.

As the current world number two, fans can look forward to Alexander Zverev. The Hamburg native missed out on the final in Halle last year, but he is back with fresh motivation. Local hero Jan-Lennard Struff is also expected back in Halle.

Hubert Hurkacz, who won the tournament in 2023 and reached the final the year before, will also be there.  The likeable Pole clearly feels at home on the grass in Halle. Andrey Rublev will also serve in Halle again after losing to Hurkacz in the 2023 final. Rublev started the year 2025 by winning the title at the 500 event in Doha. Felix Auger-Aliassime had to retire early in 2024 due to injury, but will show what he can do on the grass again this year in the OWL ARENA. Denis Shapovalov is competing in Halle for the second time and has already won a title in Dallas in 2025. He now wants to win his first grass court title in Halle. In addition to these top stars, other world-class players will also be taking part in the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN 2025.

The event will once again offer tennis fans an excellent opportunity to experience their idols up close in 2025. In addition to first-class tennis, visitors can expect an entertaining supporting program with a variety of exhibitors and a comprehensive range of activities on the tournament grounds. The TERRA WORTMANN OPEN 2025 will therefore not only be a sporting highlight, but also a social event that will put the Halle (Westphalia) region in the global spotlight.
