Twenty years have passed since Bernd Stromberg (Christoph Maria Herbst) and his team from the CAPITOL insurance claims department turned German office culture on its head. Back then, flippant remarks, questionable manners and canteen food without vegan options dominated. Now a reunion is on the cards to find out whether Stromberg and his former team have changed as much as the modern working world. Berthold "Ernie" Heisterkamp (Bjarne Mädel), Tanja and Ulf Steinke (Diana Staehly and Oliver Wnuk), Jennifer Schirrmann (Milena Dreissig) and Stromberg himself meet up again - as part of a pompously staged reunion in front of the cameras. But as with any family celebration, old conflicts, unresolved tensions and plenty of alcohol come into play. What begins as a nostalgic look back soon spirals out of control and ends in chaos that nobody could have foreseen.
