Public city tour: "Schnatgang around the new town"

The Schnatgang, also known as Schnadegang or Grenzgang, was a centuries-old custom in many towns and communities in Westphalia. During these public walks, the boundaries were checked and possible boundary shifts were determined. In some places, the originally official Schnatgang has developed into a veritable folk festival with thousands of participants. Explore the borders of the Neustadt district as part of the Schnatgang with varied and interesting stories about the district and its borders.

The meeting point is Linnenbauerplatz.

If possible, please pay the tour guide directly on site. Children up to the age of 14 walk free of charge.
