The starting point is the stable barn at the Schwelentrup play and rest area. From here, nature experience guide Karl Schröder (retired forester) leads you past the old forester's lodge in the direction of Sternberg Castle. You will experience quiet beauties along the way and hike along a small stream through the deciduous forest.
Here you will get to know 44 tree species under expert guidance. Each participant receives a folding map of the Tree Experience Trail with lots of background information.
The guided tour is free of charge, donations are welcome. Booking possible up to 7 days before the date.
Booking requests for desired dates for groups of 6 people or more are possible at j.wisomiersky@kreis-lippe.de.
