Dora Heldt - The family affairs of Johanne Johansen

Johanne Johansen finds out shortly after her 65th birthday that the traditional family business - the Elbe shipping company Kurt Johansen & Söhne - is on the verge of bankruptcy. Her parents' life's work is at stake and she knows that she can't manage without help.

Her cousin Luise Gehrke is ten years younger than Johanne and happily married. At least that's what Luise thought until her husband has a terrible accident and her whole world view is suddenly shaken.
