The 2026 live tour
"Prinzessin", "Es ist nicht so, wie du denkst", "Au Revoir": The Höhner continue to write their fantastic musical success story with great hits. With the album "11+11", the musicians have recorded eleven brand new tracks in 2024 and shown that the Höhner are more up-to-date than ever. They have also taken eleven timeless milestones from the band's history, re-recorded them in a modern way and brought them into the musical present day. Because even today, the Höhner, just like the cathedral city they sing about, are still "e Jeföhl"! Everyone can be inspired by this on the "11+11" live tour - on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the Stadthalle Rheda-Wiedenbrück.
Celebrated for decades for their blinker-free sound, for a "Jeföhl" set to music that can be understood everywhere despite the Cologne dialect, for their detours into other cultural contexts - from their own rock and roll circus show to Wacken - the Höhner are now opening the next chapter live. "Now we want to show where the Höhner currently stand and, above all, what they sound like," announces singer Patrick Lück.
Of course, the frontman knows exactly what a gift the stylistic freedom is that the Höhner have: One minute a singer, then "in the circus sometimes more of an artist or clown", they move musically between rock, pop, party sound, Schlager or folk in a similarly seamless way. "Thanks to this flexibility, we can always surprise our fans without straying too far from our tradition." No wonder that "11+11" is extremely varied and therefore sounds absolutely cohesive - and above all 100% authentic.
The joy of playing, the sound and the unique energy of this band have always been fed by new additions and transfers: Since the third singer Henning Krautmacher passed the baton to Patrick Lück in 2021, the current six-piece also consists of Micki Schläger (keyboards, vocals), Jens Streifling (guitar, sax, mandolin), Heiko Braun (drums), Freddi Lubitz-Ragland (bass, vocals) and Edin Čolić aka Meister Ede (lead guitar). The six of them continue the history of the institution founded in 1972 as "Ne Höhnerhoff", whose "Viva Colonia" was even covered by Metallica a few years ago.
