Content: Summer vacation has barely begun when Justus (Julius Weckauf), Peter (Nevio Wendt) and Bob (Levi Brandl) plan a road trip. But before they can set off, an anonymous call to the head office throws their plans into disarray: a new case awaits the three detectives. Their investigations lead them to a mysterious secret society called the Sphinx. The organization is led by the obscure Professor Phoenix (Andreas Pietschmann) and his assistant Olin (Jannik Schümann). The group carries out illegal excavations and sells stolen artifacts for profit. The focus soon shifts to the volcanic island of Makatao, which is feared as the Isle of the Dead. There is a tomb there that is shrouded in dark legends - it is said that no one who sets foot on the island will ever return. Despite the danger, Sphinx sets off on an expedition there.
