Content: In the 11th century, the medic Rob Cole (Tom Payne) flees from the Persian city of Isfahan and returns to his home country of England with his companions. There he finally ends up in London. When he wants to use the medical skills he has learned there and pass on his knowledge for the benefit of all, this meets with great resistance, especially from the powerful elites. Eventually, however, the English king asks him to cure his daughter, who is possessed by madness, which is the impetus for Rob to look into soul healing and thus the human psyche. But just because it's the king's will doesn't mean that Rob has free rein.
