Barefoot in the park - water treading area and barefoot path

The Hans Reinert Foundation has been involved in the maintenance and further development of the park for several years, and with its support the water treading area was added to the city park in 2011. Treading water has a soothing, refreshing and healing effect. It is also a mini-refreshment cure for healthy people. Treading water strengthens the immune system and harmonizes the entire autonomic nervous system.

In 2018, the water treading area was supplemented by a barefoot path, which is now going into the round. The perfect health supplement for bare feet. You can dry your feet again on two sun loungers on the adjacent meadow. Two fitness machines are also available opposite the water treading area for guests of the city park.

Directions & Parking facilities

The water treading area with barefoot path is located in Versmold town park.
The main entrance can be reached on foot or by bike from Rothenfelder Straße.
The park can be reached by car from Schützenstraße or Caldenhofer Weg. Sufficient parking spaces are available in both streets.
