Kump Bad Wünnenberg

Bad Wünnenberg's old "Kump" is located right next to the church in the Upper Town. A "Kump" is not actually a well, but a vessel into which water flows.

 The well was once connected to the Golmeke Spring near the deserted village of Imminghausen via a wooden pipeline. The well served as a modern water supply for the local population and provided water for firefighting. Today, just as in the past, the restored well is a community gathering place.
